I was a 21-year-old college student when this album was recorded at Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan. I will NEVER forget the energy in the room, the feeling of being ONE of the BEST rock-n-roll audiences in the world, and the high energy dancing we were all doing like there was no tomorrow! This album has it all and will rock your socks off! I owned the original casette version and now I have the CD. I know the words to every song by heart but, of course, like everyone else, I DO have my favorites, notably "Travelin' Man", "Beautiful Loser", "Jody Girl" and "Turn the Page." These songs will remain timeless for me. Whether you are listening to this tape in your home, or driving your car or even humming the tunes in it while riding on the back of a Harley, this is ONE tape you will NEVER regret owning. Especially if you just so happen to BE from Detroit! Rock on! |

I first got this when it came out as a 2 record album (actually I still have it) and knew it was awesome playing it all the time. When this CD came I was taken back to that time only its even better. The sound quality is so fantastic. I've seen him twice in concert and Turn the Page sounds just like when I saw him in 1978. Without a doubt still the best |

It you are familiar with Kid Rock (also from Mighican), he recorded a "Live" Trucker Album CD there at Cobo Hall also. Kid patterned his live cd package, just like Bob Seger's, as a tribute to Bob Seeger. The Album art work is almost identical. Thanks!!!!
