Personaly I don't like Marc Anthony too much. I bought this for my girlfriend and she loved all the covers.

DEAR MR. MARK ANTHONY;
I HATE THIS CD. PLEASE USE MR. SERGIO GEORGE AS YOUR ARRANGER WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?. STICK TO WHAT IS NATURAL AND TO WHAT SOUNDS GOOD. I COULD NOT EVEN GET TO THE END OF THIS CD BEFORE I GAVE IT AWAY. SORRY BUT STICK TO WHAT YOU KNOW. I MISS THE SALSA . THIS CD JUST ISN'T WHAT YOU DO, SERGIO GEORGE HAS THE FEELING FOR WHAT YOUR VOICE CAN DO, TO BRING OUT ITS POTENTIAL AND THIS WAS A FLOP.

Excelente Homenaje a ICONOS de la Musica! |
Estuve indeciso en comprar este disco, demore más de un mes esperando a encontrar una oferta irrechazable ya que no estaba muy convencido de que fuera una buena producción. El repetir canciones hechas famosas por grandes artistas es un riesgo que no siempre tiene un "final feliz". Ayer lo escuche por primera vez y estuve llorando desde la canción uno hasta la última con descanso en la # 7 -VIDA.
Evidentemente Marc Anthony quiso con este disco hacer tributo a los grandes de la música romántica en español y puso todo su sentimiento y voz para lograr un excelente homenaje a ICONOS como José José, Juan Gabriel, José Luis Perales y Roberto Carlos.
Este disco no es para salseros, no es para bailar. Es para escuchar canciones inolvidables que seguramente fueron parte de tu juventud y primeros amores, con nuevos arreglos, música y magistral interpretación de Marc Anthony. Más dos nuevas canciones del mismo estilo muy bien concebidas.
